1.  OH! God of the great Universe,

     Thou who ordained that there should be light 

     Whose command brought forth trees

     and shrubs,

     And all living creatures of all kind.

2.  God who answereth prayers of Moses; 

      That all kings could not over power him; 

      God who heard prayers of Elijah

      And put all his enemies to shame.

3.  God who ordered ocean to be,

     No one knew how thou didst thy 

     great work; 

     Thou put seas in their position

     No one could ever dislocate them.

4.  Thou who heard the prayers of Hannah,

     The Father of the fatherless ones,

     Thou God who heard Queen Esther's prayers 

     And overcame all her enemies.

     God who gave favour to Joseph
