1.  ONWARD Seraphim Band, marching as to war 

     Lift on high victory sword, ‘gainst satan and sin 

     Almighty conqueror, hath conquered for us 

     Amidst num‐ber-less foes, be not afrightened 

     Do the will of the Lord, like the saints of old 

     God who hark to Abrah'm

     Shall hark to our plea.


2.  Onward Cherubim Band, marching as to war

     Walls of Jericho fell, for the sacred songs

     Marching from strength to strength, 

     spoils of war to stock

     Onward! marching-onward ever 

     amidst countless scuffs

     Do the will of the Lord, like the saints of old 

     God who hark to Moses, shall hark to our plea.


3.  Forget not His powers on Pharaoh the King 

     Forget not His victory amidst the red sea 

     Cloudly pillar at the dawn, beam of fire at dusk 

     To defend and shield them away from effects 

     of foes

     Do the will of the Lord, like the Saints of old 

     God who hark to Joshua, shall hark to our plea.


4.  Father, God, Provider, shall our needs provide 

     Forget not His mercies in the wilderness 

     Water for the thirsty, sourceth from the Rock 

     Meat for the hungered provi‐deth all

     manna and Quails

     Do the will of the Lord, like the Saints of old 

     God who hark to Daniel, shall hark to our plea.


5.  Forward ever marching, amidst temptations 

     Ceaselessly praying on, thou shall victory earn 

     Our protection repose on the strength of God

     Forget not Saints Shadrack, Meshach

     and Abednego

     Do the will of the Lord, like the Saints of old 

     God who heard Elijah, shall hark to our plea.


6.  Seraphim here below, fe-li-ci-ta-ting

     Cherubim here below, fe-li-ci-ta-ting

     Feast of God in heaven above we shall all partake 

     Won in fellowship with the martyrs

     Praising God above
