1.  IMPATIENT heart be still

     Thy God is on thy side

     He who has made the promises 

     Will sure bring it to pass.


2.  He led thee by the hand

     And brought thee hither-to

     He’ll keep thee till danger is past, 

     Until thy life shall end.


3.  When thou wert yet engulfed 

     In troubles and despair

     ls it not thy cry He has heard 

     And delivered thee free.


4.  Though all the way seems rough 

     Yet He will take thee home

     Soon, troubles here will over be 

     Thou'll forget them for e‘er.  Amen
